Moustapha Bayal Sall (born November 30, 1985 in Dakar) is a Senegalese football central defender who currently plays for AS Saint-Étienne. He joined the Ligue 1 club during the summer of 2006 from Senegalese club US Gorée following a brief spell with IK Start in Norway. In March 2007 he signed a contract with IK Start. But three months later, having never played a game for the club, he signed for AS Saint-Étienne. Start brought the matter to FIFA and on 3 December 2007 Sall was handed a four-month ban due to start in July 2008 and Saint-Étienne were ordered to pay $150,000 in compensation to the Norwegian club.〔("Sall handed four-month FIFA ban" ) BBC Sport Retrieved on 3 December 2007〕 In January 2012 he went on a six-month loan to AS Nancy-Lorraine.〔("Official Ligue 1 Website with transfers list of Winter 2011/2012" ) Retrieved on 18 January 2012〕 He was put aside by the management in St Etienne, according to him because of personal problems with the manager Christophe Galtier, and therefore not playing anymore.〔 ("Sall put aside by St Etienne" ) Retrieved on 18 January 2012〕 Moustapha is also famous on the FIFA (video game series) website, Futhead for having a strange profile picture.〔("Moustapha Sal 73 Fifa 14" ) Retrieved on 21 November 2015〕 This is pointed out by the user "lampard8" when he says, "MOUSTAPHA WANT BALL" implying how he looked strange in the picture.
